About Kari

Kari Clinton was born and raised in St Louis, Missouri. She was adopted into a Caucasian family at the age of five months. Sadly, both of her adoptive parents died by the time she reached eighteen years old, forcing her to grow up quickly. In spite of experiencing the loss of her parents, a failed marriage, and the challenges of being a single parent, Kari found the strength within herself to persevere. It is her desire that as she shares the many bumps, bruises, brokenness, and lessons learned, she might inspire, edify, and encourage others to overcome and possibly avoid some of these same obstacles altogether. In her spare time, Kari enjoys traveling and meeting people from diverse backgrounds and different world views. She is known by her peers as a “super server” as she can often be found volunteering at community events. Kari attended Midwest Theology School and The Empowerment Academy. Currently, she is the Executive Administrative Assistant at her church, a position she has held for the last four years. Kari Clinton resides in Texas with her husband, Larry, and their beautiful family. Kari has created content for the actress Kimberley Elise’s website as well as written content for many others.  Kari Clinton’s latest book titled, ” Layers of a Love Child,” is scheduled for release in 2020.
